New Swapping Requirement

Hi friends,

There's a new addition to the Local Yokel Craft Fair and Swap. To ensure that everyone gets to participate in the swapping element of the event, we are requiring all vendors to submit two (2) handmade items, worth about $10 each, in order to participate in the event.

What are we doing with all these donated items? One of the items goes to another vendor. That means you automatically get a handcrafted item from another vendor just for showing up and donating one of your own. The second item goes to the organizers of the event. Many people work hard to make this event happen (Kate donates the space, Jackie designs the posters, etc.) and we want to be able to compensate them somehow.

We've never charged a booth fee for the event (and don't want to) so we thought this was a fun and fair option.
